Everyday foot care in Shellharbour

Routine care is most of what we do at our Shellharbour Village clinic, 19/23 Addison Street: cutting back thick or awkward nails, smoothing hard skin, treating cracked heels and easing nail edges before they become infected. Park on Addison Street or in the council car park behind the building, and ask about Saturday appointments, which run on some weekends.

We also look over your skin, nails and circulation each time, so anything new is picked up while it is still easy to treat. If you live with diabetes, regular diabetes foot checks sit alongside your nail care.

Damaged nails and problems that linger

KeryFlex nail restoration for damaged or discoloured nails is available at the Village clinic. If a corn, heel or nail problem keeps coming back, our Shellharbour City clinic beside Stockland focuses on chronic and complex foot problems, with free parking at Stockland. Our corns and callus guide explains why hard skin returns.

Frequently asked questions about General podiatry

Which clinic should I book for nail care?

Shellharbour Village is our everyday clinic and the one most people choose for routine nail and skin care. Shellharbour City, beside Stockland, focuses on chronic and complex problems. If you are not sure, call and we will help.

Is it worth seeing a podiatrist just for nails?

Yes. A routine nail appointment is common, and it is a chance to check your skin and circulation too. Many people return every six to eight weeks.

Can cracked heels be treated?

Yes. We gently reduce the thick skin around the heel so the cracks can heal, then suggest a moisturiser and footwear to stop them reopening.
